Cashol

Resibras Cashol is a manufacturer of cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL), which is a renewable natural resource. The unique properties of CNSL enable us to develop and produce a wide range of products covering several applications such as: coatings, friction materials, adhesives, wood panels, cork, insulating materials, biological agents, rubber, lubricants, semi-synthetic resins and other formulations where lower toxicity is required.

Renewable and Sustainable solutions in CASHOL® products.

CNSL - CASHOL® is a viscous and dark liquid extracted from cashew nut shell, which constitutes one of the major sources of renewable phenol.
CNSL contains approximately 60%-75% of Cardanol, 15% -20% of Cardol and 5% -10% of others Polymers.

Applications: Coatings, friction materials, adhesives, wood panels, cork, insulating materials, biological agents, rubber, lubricants, semi-synthetic resins.

Cardanol

Cardanol is a yellow liquid, natural phenol and a monohiroxilo with a long chain of meta-position hydrocarbons (C15H27) obtained from distillation of CNSL – cashew nut shell liquid.

Applications: Curing agents, coatings, adhesives, wood panels, cork, insulating materials.

Friction Particles

This is a fully-cured granular resin derived from a reaction of condensation of a long pre-polymerized chain of cashew nut shell liquid. It provides a high heat resistance in disc pads, brake linings and clutch facings.

Applications: Used in safety motion industry.
